The wires connected to the tape head can be seen at the bottom.
This is the opened unit with the tape head and wire pulled out, which I later extended by splicing an additional two feet of thin speaker wire with the existing wires.
This is the system I used to amplify the sound.
I ran the sound through two modulation pedals, a phase and a digital delay.
I had to convert speaker wire that came from the tape player to a quarter inch jack so it could be plugged into the P.A. system.
