This is my Collage piece "Re-Writing History". This was greatly influenced by ancient egypt and alot of the myth's around pyramid building such as alien help and other crazy ideas. So I expanded on that and created a "modern day" pyramid building scheme. First I took an image of a pyramid and I cut off the top so they had something to work on. I then took a rectangle and made it look like it was sand and put that on top. I then found some images of cranes and people and manipulated the cranes so they looked like they were lifting giant sandstone blocks for the pyramids. I drew on the cables with the pen tool at 2 thickness. I also found an image of sandstone blocks and modified their color so they were slightly more orange to fit the color of the pyramid and I built up a small section in the corner so that it looked like some construction was going on.
